Dear Applicant:
Enclosed
is an application packet which contains the Original Act 392, Rules and
Regulations and the application to complete for licensure as a Licensed
Dietitian or a Provisional Licensed Dietitian.
Beginning
one (1) year after the effective date of the Dietetics Practice Act, July 3,
1998, no person shall practice dietetics within the meaning of this ACT unless
she/ or he is duly licensed or is a student under the provisions of this ACT or
otherwise entitled under sections 4 to 7.
If
the applicant does not meet the requirements for Licensed Dietitian in
accordance with the Rules and Regulations, (SEE enclosed Rules and
Regulations), the applicant may qualify for a provisional license prior to
passing the examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
(CDR). (See Section XI).
